Why Service Your Machine?
Your sewing machine is made up of hundreds of moving parts. All the parts must move in sync and properly lubricated in order for them to operate and keep you sewing. As recommended by the manufacturer, your machine must be serviced regularly. And rightly so; a lack of service can lead to premature wear, misalignment, or failure of parts within the machine. Improper stitch formation, puckering of fabric, thread bunching, thread breaking, needles breaking are all indications that you need to get your machine in for service, adjustment and repair right away. There is no risk; if it isn't fixed, you don't pay!
When you maintain your machine properly, using it will be a pleasure. Remember, a bent/blunt/unsuitable needle, incorrect threading, or overloading your machine can cause problems. If your machine is well maintained and serviced but just doesn't seem to stitch properly, try replacing the needle and re-threading. If that doesn't resolve the problem, give us a call!
